Tokentags & RWAs
What do I need to use Tokentags?
You can read a Tokentag with any NFC‑enabled smartphone. A simple tap opens the linked asset on tokentagged.com. To write to the Tokentag during the minting process, you need an Android smartphone with Chrome or a smartphone with the Tokentagged app installed.
Does my phone support NFC?
Most modern Android phones and iPhones support NFC. On iPhone, NFC is available from iPhone 7 and newer. On Android, you can check in Settings → Connections (or Network) → NFC.
My phone won’t scan the Tokentag. What can I do?
- Make sure NFC is enabled in your phone settings
- Hold the phone steady over the tag for 2–3 seconds
- Try different positions (iPhone: top edge; Android: often center)
- Remove metal or magnetic cases
- Ensure the tag is firmly attached and not covered by metal surfaces
How difficult is it to copy or counterfeit Tokentags?
Tokentags use high‑security chips similar to those in bank cards. The private key is generated on the Tokentag and never leaves it. This makes copying or counterfeiting practically impossible.
How is the connection between the Tokentag and the digital asset created?
Each Tokentag generates a private key and a corresponding public key that serves as the token ID. During minting, that token ID is linked to a contract address and written onto the Tokentag. This makes the connection unique and permanently verifiable.
How do I get Tokentags?
You can buy Tokentags in different formats in the official shop.
What are typical use cases for RWAs with Tokentags?
Common use cases include art & collectibles, luxury goods, certificates/documents, and alternative assets. Tokentags make authenticity, provenance, and ownership transparent and verifiable.
3D Models & Media
How long does 3D model processing take?
Processing time depends on the number of images and typically ranges from 10 minutes to 2 hours. You’ll receive an email once processing is complete.
How much does a 3D model cost?
Creating a 3D model costs €4. Payment is made before processing. If you’re not happy with the result, you can request a 50% refund before finalizing.
How many photos do I need for a good 3D model?
You need at least 20 photos and can upload up to 200. More photos generally yield better results. We recommend at least 50 photos—100+ for large or highly detailed objects.
What can I do if the result isn’t good?
Image quality is crucial. Check sharpness and overlap. If the result isn’t good, you can restart the calculation with better images for €2 or request a 50% refund.
What kinds of objects work well for 3D models?
Still objects with textured surfaces work best. Transparent, reflective, or uniform objects are challenging. For many difficult objects, the 360° view is a good alternative.
How do I redeem a 3D model voucher?
You can redeem a voucher right before processing—where payment happens. Enter your code or select an available voucher.
How do I create a 3D model?
Photograph your object from all sides (20–200 photos) and upload the images to Tokentagged. Create or select a project and click “Create 3D Model.” The guide is here:
Can I download my 3D models?
Yes. You can download both the edited and unedited versions. Click the download icon in the media slider.
How do I embed the media slider on my website?
Open the asset, click the three‑dot menu in the top right, and choose “Embed.” Copy the code into your website. You can also adjust size and other options in the embed menu.
Swap Card
What is a Crypto Swap Card?
The Swap Card is a physical hardware wallet that lets you securely store and hand over crypto and NFTs. It includes a certified secure element (EAL 6+) that protects the keys.
How does the Swap Card work?
You load ETH or tokens onto the card. Tapping it with an NFC smartphone opens the web app, where you can see balances and sign transactions. The key never leaves the card.
Is the Swap Card secure?
Yes. The private key is generated on the card and stays there. Physical possession equals access—store the card safely, like cash.
Can anyone use the Swap Card?
Yes. It’s designed for both newcomers and experienced users. No app is required—an NFC‑enabled smartphone is enough.
How do I top up my Swap Card?
Tap the card with an NFC smartphone, open the web app, and transfer assets from your wallet onto the card.
What happens if I lose my Swap Card?
The value is tied to the card like cash. If it’s lost, whoever finds it can access the funds. Keep it safe.
Where can I buy a Swap Card?
You can get it in the official shop:
